A few words about my storyAbout Me
M y B i o g r a p h y
I am the Founder Partner & CEO of Asterys (formerly Life Coach Lab), a global organizational consulting firm, and of Asterys Lab, a coach training organization.
I did my coach training at Coach University, in Colorado and I’m currently qualified as a Master Certified Coach. I have also conducted studies in emotional intelligence, personal transformation, transpersonal psychology, systemic constellations, Voice Dialogue, Design Thinking. I founded Federazione Italiana Coach (now ICF Italia, the Italian chapter of the most important international association of coaching professionals, the International Coach Federation), of which I was the first President in 2002 and 2003.
From 2004 to 2011 I’ve been a member of the Board of Directors of the International Coach Federation, as Director at-large, Vice President, Secretary/Treasurer and, in 2010, as President. I currently serve as Past President.
I hold an MBA at La Jolla University (San Diego, CA) and before I founded Asterys, I ran an advertising agency when I was only 20. I then spent 7 years at Saatchi & Saatchi as a Client Director. From 1998 to 2001 I worked for Yahoo! Inc. first as the head of the Italian start-up, then in the European headquarters as Marketing Director for Europe. In 2001, I redirected my life around enabling leaders to transform themselves and their organizations.

I work as a Facilitator of Transformation and Executive Coach with CEOs, directors and management teams of multinational organizations in the areas of self-awareness and self-regulation, interpersonal effectiveness, emotional intelligence, leadership and change management.
FACILITATOR OF TRANSFORMATION: Facilitation of transformation is one of the most effective approach to enable collective shifts in mindsets and behaviors I’ve ever encountered. It goes way beyond training, facilitation or coaching as it provides people with a profound journey of self-awareness, an exploration of one’s own shadow and fears and an opportunity for breakthrough realizations.
EXECUTIVE COACH: I engage my clients in thought-provoking conversations, where I challenge their thinking patterns and views, where they feel free to explore and express their emotions, their various Selves and overcome their worries and fears. These conversations allow leaders to increase their effectiveness, to broaden their response repertoire and to maximize the impact they have in the world.
KEYNOTE SPEAKER: As a keynote speaker, I love to be provocative and stimulate my audience with of something they hadn’t seen, known, or believed before. In a way, my speeches try to be a condensate of a transformational act. I generally speak about topics that enhance self-awareness, leadership, and organizational culture change. In the last few years I had the privilege to speak at many Top Managers’ Conferences and in several HR and coaching national and international conferences e and I am a TEDx speaker.
AUTHOR: Writing a book for me is like channeling ancient knowledge through my words in order to serve the development and transformation of my readers. It is also an act of personal learning, when I write, I learn as much as I share. My first book titled “Come dire di No ed essere ancora più apprezzati” (How to say no and still be appreciated), published in Italian in 2003 by Sperling & Kupfer and re-published by Asterys in 2017. I then wrote “Personal Mastery. The Path to Transformative Leadership” with foreword by Sir John Whitmore (published by Asterys), to help people recognize their automatic fear-based mechanisms that imprison them in reactive, unproductive patterns and to provide them with practices and tools to take full ownership of their lives and their results.
Lastly, in January 2018, together with Stefano Petti, I wrote “AEquacy. The new human-centered organizational design to thrive in a complex world” (published by Asterys) where I propose the abandonment of hierarchy and of its predictable limiting dynamics to adopt a radial design, based on a network of self-managing teams.
